You will analyze financial data to drive management decisions, identify cost control opportunities, and support strategic planning.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret clinical, claim, and financial data to identify opportunities for program development.
• Identify cost control issues and recommend specific actions for resolution.
• Prepare strategic and operational studies to improve system performance and workflows.
• Maintain reporting data integrity by verifying the accuracy of all datasets.
• Support the implementation of new systems.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• Five years of healthcare finance or financial analysis experience, including work with hospital clinical, claim, and financial data.
• Proven experience working with large databases and performing data extraction and analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
• Ability to work effectively with large sets of data.
• Alternative requirement: Ten years of healthcare finance experience including SQL, Access, and Excel proficiency.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration.
• Experience with Tableau, SQL, and Cost accounting.
• Specific experience with Proforma and Cost Accounting.
