Description

You will design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures across multi-vendor environments. You will lead firewall migration projects and build new security architectures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure networks using Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, and Cisco routing and switching products.
• Lead firewall migration projects, including policy analysis, configuration translation, and deployment using Expedition, FortiConverter, and SmartMove.
• Perform security policy reviews, rulebase optimization, and threat prevention tuning to meet compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot complex network security issues and respond to security events, contributing to root cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including network diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting firewalls and security management systems across Palo Alto Networks.
• 2+ years of experience in security policy design, rulebase optimization, and hardening of multi-vendor firewall environments.
• 2+ years of experience with Panorama – template stacks, device groups, policy hierarchy, logging, reporting, custom dashboards, and role-based control.
• Strong experience with Fortinet and network security engineering.
• Proficiency in Cisco routing and switching products.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into enterprise architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience participating in a rotational on-call schedule for critical incidents.
• Knowledge of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to improve security posture.
