Description

Develop, test, and optimize firmware for Windows on ARM (WOA) and Qualcomm Snapdragon (WOS) platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for Qualcomm ARM Snapdragon SOC hardware platforms.
• Write efficient, optimized C/C++ code to ensure functionality, reliability, and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with hardware architects to seamlessly integrate software and hardware components.
• Optimize memory usage, processing speed, and performance using simulation tools and on-target testing.
• Debug embedded firmware using JTAG/SWD debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing firmware applications on ARM processors.
• Expertise in C and C++ programming.
• Experience with UEFI Architecture and EDK-2 platform (PEIM and DXE stages).
• Hands-on bare-metal development using UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, and DAC protocols.
• Proficiency in debugging embedded firmware using JTAG and SWD debuggers.
• Experience with RTOS (ThreadX, Zephyr OS), embedded Linux, and bootloader architecture.
• Competency with Python, batch files, and command shells for scripting.
• Understanding of hardware schematics, analog/digital electronic concepts, and data sheets.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of embedded security, encryption protocols, and power management techniques.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN or Ethernet.
