Description

You will own firmware development for ARM and RISC-V SoCs across pre-silicon emulation, simulation, and post-silicon environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware features for SoC power management and security.
• Triage, analyze, and debug complex firmware issues in emulation and silicon environments.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate functionality, security, and efficiency using evaluation boards.
• Lead hardware bring-up for new ASICs and participate in feasibility studies.
• Manage firmware deliverables and track progress with global stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on firmware development experience on ARM or RISC-V architectures.
• Strong proficiency in C Programming and Assembly Language.
• Deep understanding of Embedded Firmware concepts and RTOS integration.
• Experience with low-level interfaces: UART, I2C, SPI, and QSPI.
• Familiarity with SoC power management techniques and security concepts.
• Proficiency in emulation and simulation environments.
• Experience with debug tools and version control (Git/Gerrit).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IPU/NPU firmware development.
• Knowledge of Root of Trust and symmetric/asymmetric cryptography.
• Semiconductor domain experience.
