Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate storage software and firmware for SATA, SAS, NVMe, and RAID controller technologies.
• Program MIPS processors using C and assembly language to implement core firmware components and device drivers.
• Collaborate with customers to develop and integrate software solutions using firmware and device components.
• Work with cross-functional teams and multiple sites to design solutions and resolve customer issues.
• Conduct detailed design and code reviews of implementations by the firmware development team.
• Sustain current products and guide next-generation firmware products from design to production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in embedded real-time systems.
• Analyze firmware performance metrics and optimize system performance.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation for all firmware components.
• Present technical solutions and updates to internal engineering teams and technical marketing personnel.

Experience Required

• 5 - 8 years of experience in embedded firmware development.
• Strong expertise in SATA, SAS, PCIe, and NVMe protocols.
• Proficiency in programming MIPS processors, C, and assembly language.
• Experience with device drivers, storage firmware, and real-time embedded systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
