Description

You will design and develop embedded firmware for Battery Management Systems (BMS) across module, rack, and system levels for UPS and storage applications.

Responsibilities

• Architect complete embedded software for battery management systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and modularity.
• Develop BMS algorithms for SOC estimation, internal resistance estimation, cell balancing, lifetime prediction, and SOH.
• Implement mission and safety-critical features including charge control, thermal control, fault detection, and diagnostics.
• Design, test, debug, and document firmware for mass production to meet regulatory and safety standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.
• 3+ years of direct experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS).
• Expertise in C and C++ for embedded Linux and RTOS environments.
• Proficiency in Embedded C, C++, Firmware, and Linux.
• Experience with Agile Product Development for at least 2 years.
• Strong software fundamentals in architectural design, algorithm development, and data structures.
• Hands-on experience in firmware debugging and testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Cyber Security solutions.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards such as UL9540, UL1973, IEC62619, or IEC 60730.
