Description

Senior Firmware Engineer (Embedded System) based in Tamil Nadu or Andhra Pradesh.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded firmware for EV components and BMS using C and C++.
• Implement real-time operating systems (RTOS) and manage microprocessor/microcontroller architectures.
• Ensure code compliance with MISRA-C standards and perform static code analysis.
• Develop and maintain communication protocols including CAN, CAN-FD, UDS, J1939, I2C, USART, and SPI.
• Utilize Vector CAN tools and oscilloscopes for debugging and validation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in embedded design and software fundamentals.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Hands-on experience with RTOS and microcontrollers.
• Deep understanding of automotive protocols: CAN, CAN-FD, UDS, J1939.
• Knowledge of ISO26262 functional safety standards.
• Familiarity with MISRA-C guidelines and static code analyzers.
• Experience with UML and version control (GIT).
• Ability to work with EV components and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
