Description

You will lead a small engineering team while developing low-level embedded software and real-time systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day technical activities for a small engineering team.
• Design and develop embedded software using C and C++.
• Apply object-oriented analysis and programming techniques to firmware.
• Develop software for real-time embedded systems across various environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expertise in C and C++ within embedded or application environments.
• Proven experience with real-time embedded development and ARM/Intel architectures.
• Proficiency in firmware development and RTOS.
• Experience working within Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming.
• Degree or advanced coursework in software engineering, embedded systems, operating systems, or computer architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python scripting and communication protocols like SPI, UART, I2C, Ethernet, USB, or PCI Express.
• Background in developing device drivers, using compilers/toolchains for ARM/Intel, or working with embedded Hypervisors.
• Ability to use oscilloscopes, read traces, and review board schematics.
