Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable React applications and component libraries for enterprise-grade products.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive, accessible (WCAG 2.1 AA) UIs using React.js, TypeScript, and Next.js, ensuring optimal performance across devices.
  • Integrate front-end apps with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, collaborating with backend teams to define and validate contracts.
  • Manage application state using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or React Query, selecting patterns based on complexity and performance needs.
  • Own build tooling and bundler configuration (Webpack, Vite, or Turbopack) to optimize Core Web Vitals and bundle size.
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and E2E tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright or Cypress.

Required Skills

  • 5–8 years of professional front-end development experience, with at least 3 years in React.js and TypeScript.
  • Deep expertise in the React ecosystem, including hooks, concurrent rendering, code-splitting, and Next.js server-side/static generation.
  • Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES2020+), CSS-in-JS or utility-first CSS (Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules), and responsive layouts (Flexbox, Grid).
  • Hands-on experience with state management libraries (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Jotai) and data-fetching patterns (React Query, SWR, Apollo).
  • Proven experience writing front-end tests with Jest, React Testing Library, and at least one E2E framework (Playwright or Cypress).
  • Practical knowledge of CI/CD workflows (GitLab CI) and developer tooling (ESLint, Prettier, Storybook, Chromatic).
  • Experience consuming and shaping REST and GraphQL APIs, including familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
  • Strong grasp of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and performance fundamentals (Core Web Vitals, caching, CDN strategies).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with micro-frontend architecture (Module Federation, single-spa) in large-scale environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-hosted front-end delivery on AWS (CloudFront, S3) or equivalent CDN/edge patterns.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degrees
