Description

Senior Front-End Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of modern, high-performance web applications for Mphasis using React and TypeScript. This role owns front-end architecture decisions, establishes engineering standards, and collaborates closely with Product, UX, and backend teams. AI-assisted engineering tool proficiency (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalent) is a hard requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of complex user-facing web applications in React + TypeScript, owning architecture and end-to-end front-end delivery.
• Establish and evolve standards for component architecture, state management, routing, code conventions, and testing practices.
• Build on design system/component library foundations (EXDS UI); implement responsive layouts, theming at scale, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Drive Core Web Vitals optimization, bundle splitting, rendering strategies (SSR/CSR), caching, and runtime observability.
• Ensure WCAG/ARIA compliance, keyboard navigation, and screen
