Description

Lead architecture and delivery for complex frontend systems using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement frontend features, owning the full lifecycle from planning to production.
• Mentor developers through pair programming, design sessions, and code reviews.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs while optimizing for performance, scale, and security.
• Drive adoption of performance best practices, including Core Web Vitals and accessibility standards.
• Enforce coding standards and maintainability through rigorous peer reviews.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of frontend engineering experience.
• 4+ years of production experience with React.js and Next.js.
• Strong fluency in JavaScript and TypeScript (ES6+).
• Experience building and scaling large component libraries or design systems.
• Deep understanding of API integration patterns using REST and GraphQL.
• Proficiency in frontend performance tuning and Lighthouse audits.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms like Vercel, Netlify, or AWS.
• Background with headless CMS platforms including Sitecore JSS, Contentful, Sanity, or Strapi.
