Description

Architect and scale interactive web applications, defining technical strategy and reusable component libraries.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end solutions and reusable components for complex, open-ended problems.
• Collaborate with backend, product, and design teams to spec, write, test, and deploy code.
• Translate product vision into a tangible quarterly roadmap alongside leadership and engineers.
• Mentor team members on design and coding standards to raise overall engineering quality.
• Run code reviews and pair programming sessions to ensure high-quality implementations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience architecting and scaling interactive UIs using JS/React.
• 2+ years of experience with JS type systems such as TypeScript.
• Proven experience building performant UX that handles rendering and manipulating large data sets.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Recoil, Redux, or MobX.
• Strong understanding of coding standards and back-end web development integration.
• Ability to gather requirements from product stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL or VTK.
• Knowledge of WebGL.
