Description

You will build and maintain scalable web applications using Python and React.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using Python frameworks and React.
• Write efficient, reusable, and testable code following modern software engineering principles.
• Lead and mentor junior developers through code reviews and constructive feedback.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into the application ecosystem.
• Contribute to Agile processes including sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, specifically with Django or Flask.
• Solid experience building interactive web interfaces and SPAs with React.js.
• Advanced JavaScript (ES6+) skills.
• Practical experience integrating front-end and back-end systems.
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and principles (OOP, MVC, REST).
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as PyTest or Jest.
• Strong knowledge of Git version control.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, and Lambda.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, Docker, CI/CD, and IaC.
• Exposure to Kubernetes, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
