Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ship full-stack features end-to-end across the content workbench, from Angular front-end through PHP/Symfony and Go back-end services backed by MySQL.
• Build and maintain ingestion and conversion pipelines that transform ePUB, PDF, XML, and ONIX into application-ready output.
• Develop and operate operator review and correction surfaces for synchronized multi-format content, including editing and export workflows.
• Optimize PHP 8.x APIs and supporting services for high-volume file transfers and background processing of large media assets.
• Lead interactive Angular UI development with coordinate-based media interactions and reactive state management using RxJS and NgRx.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production full-stack features end-to-end Angular (v14+) with component architecture, RxJS reactive patterns, and NgRx state management
• Strong TypeScript and modern front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS/SCSS) and the ability to write design docs and explain trade-offs
• PHP on Symfony (Laravel acceptable) with ORM experience using Doctrine
• Relational database design and performance fundamentals, including schema design, performant queries, and indexing in MySQL
• Engineering practices including unit/integration/e2e testing, Git-based pull request workflows, and CI/CD

Good to Have:

• Laravel, Go (Golang) for back-end services
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
