Description

Lead development of a Fixed Income Regulatory application, owning features, defect fixes, and system stability.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and fix defects following established best practices.
• Provide technical consultancy, conduct code reviews, and mentor developers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define user stories.
• Partner with testing teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and execution.
• Troubleshoot issues and mitigate risks to support application performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in Java 17+ development as an individual contributor and leader.
• Proficiency with Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and the ELK stack.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools: Grafana, Kibana, and Prometheus.
• Working knowledge of React or Angular (preferably both).
• Exposure to message-driven architectures using JMS, IBM MQ, Artemis, or Solace.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, JIRA, or Confluence.
• Competency in Unit, Regression, and E2E testing.
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git or Subversion.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RDBMS (Oracle) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Knowledge of micro-frontends and Agile methodologies.
