Description

You will design and implement user-facing applications and backend integrations across a modern microservices architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive UIs using React with TypeScript and/or Flutter with Dart, implementing resilient states and async flows.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL (Apollo) services, including real-time patterns over WebSockets.
• Write and maintain Jest and Testing Library tests, using MSW for API mocking and contributing to Playwright E2E suites.
• Collaborate on Express-based serving and security defaults, and partner with backend engineers on Spring Boot APIs and OpenAPI documentation.
• Instrument and troubleshoot applications using OpenTelemetry, Application Insights, and platform monitoring tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years professional software development with substantial production React experience.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency (types, generics, narrowing, module patterns) and fluency in at least two modern languages (JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++).
• Experience with Redux Toolkit, async data loading, and complex UI state management.
• Proficiency with Webpack 5, modern frontend tooling, and micro-frontends or Module Federation.
• Working knowledge of Node.js (Express) for build tooling and lightweight servers.
• Ability to read and modify Java/Spring Boot services or ramp up quickly with mentorship.
• Experience shipping through CI/CD (Azure DevOps or comparable) and consuming private package registries.
• Understanding of security protocols including Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, and REST client integration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Familiarity with Azure tools across the software development lifecycle.
