Description

You will design and deliver software solutions for trading and investment management operations in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities

• Design software solutions by interacting with portfolio managers, traders, and operations staff to define requirements.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful delivery within the team.
• Develop scalable solutions that enable new trading activities and improve efficiency.
• Provide knowledge transfer to team members and support staff through documentation, walkthroughs, and application demos.
• Lead development processes and manage client expectations through direct communication.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with Java Core, including Multi-threading, Concurrency, and Performance tuning.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular.
• Strong SQL knowledge (MS SQL Server) for querying, data normalization, and updating structures.
• Proven track record in team leadership and managing development processes.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
