Description

You will design and build the Derivative Analytics platform, owning the React frontend and Spring Boot backend to serve financial analysts and quants.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, performant UIs in React and TypeScript for security modeling and visualization.
• Architect scalable Spring Boot RESTful APIs integrating with upstream data sources and analytics engines.
• Connect backend services to internal platforms to retrieve market data and surface risk analytics results.
• Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive automated tests using JUnit and React Testing Library/Jest.
• Reduce technical debt, resolve defects, and contribute to architecture discussions and code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem (REST APIs, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA).
• 3+ years of hands-on React development, including component architecture, state management (Redux, Zustand, or React Query), and API integration.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern React tooling (Vite, Next.js).
• 2–3 years of experience with Git in a collaborative workflow (branching strategies, PRs, code reviews).
• 1–2 years of experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman).
• Solid experience with JUnit and automated testing frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with relational databases, complex SQL queries, and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience in financial services, capital markets, or fintech environments.
