Description

You will own the design, development, and delivery of a new payments platform, engaging directly with business users to define requirements and optimize performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build RESTful web services and front-end GUIs using Spring Boot and Angular.
• Define technical solutions and prototypes while managing code deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify application bottlenecks and optimize configuration changes for performance.
• Resolve issues and support business partners within the division.
• Leverage GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot and LLMs to accelerate development.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java, Python, or C#.
• 3+ years of experience with the Java Spring Framework.
• 3-5 years developing RESTful services using Spring Boot.
• 2-3 years building front-end interfaces with Angular 2 or higher.
• Proficiency with relational databases including Sybase, SQL Server, MySQL, or DB2.
• Experience with version control (Git), build tools (Gradle), and IDEs (Eclipse).
• Hands-on experience with Docker containers and Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Ability to design and execute unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Familiarity with test automation tools such as Fitnesse.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in an Agile product-centric software methodology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
