Description

You will design, build, and test full-stack solutions using Ruby on Rails and React, covering new APIs, batch processing, and data products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Ruby on Rails and React within Agile teams.
• Write comprehensive tests using RSpec and Minitest, targeting 1:1 coverage for critical code.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and deploy to AWS, adhering to security standards like IAM and KMS.
• Conduct code reviews and manage dependencies using Bundler and Ruby gems.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on technical decisions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails.
• Proficiency in React for frontend development.
• Deep understanding of Rails MVC architecture and the Ruby ecosystem.
• Experience with Git, including structured code reviews and collaboration.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Docker.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services, including Security Groups, Secrets Manager, and IAM.
• Strong SQL skills with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Elixir and functional programming patterns.
• Familiarity with non-relational databases like MongoDB or Redis.
