Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services with Node.js on AWS Lambda and dynamic front-end SPAs using ReactJS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement event-driven, asynchronous workflows for scalable data processing.
• Develop and integrate core APIs and internal services, troubleshooting full-stack production issues.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests while participating in rigorous code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Security teams to architect secure, resilient solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building production-grade backend services with Node.js.
• Extensive experience developing Single Page Applications using ReactJS.
• Proven expertise in AWS Serverless Architecture, specifically AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Hands-on experience with AWS SQS and SNS for message queuing and pub/sub patterns.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and pipeline automation via GitHub Actions.
• Strong prompt engineering skills and experience using AI agents to accelerate coding and testing.
• Ability to effectively review, test, and refactor AI-generated code outputs.
• Exposure to Amazon Redshift and data warehousing concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Exceptional ability to debug distributed systems using logs and metrics.
• Solid familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD best practices.
