Description

You will own the full software development lifecycle for market data applications, from design and coding to production support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive application systems analysis, component design, coding, unit testing, and debugging.
• Provide Level 3 production support and communicate technical risks to stakeholders.
• Interface with trading desks, business analysts, quants, and global technology teams.
• Research and recommend technologies to improve existing systems.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to TDD methodologies.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, including multi-threading and low-latency design.
• Experience with Spring frameworks (Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Scheduler).
• Hands-on experience with distributed messaging systems and inter-process communication.
• Frontend expertise in HTML, XHTML, XML, JS, TypeScript, Angular, or React.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Protractor.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like TeamCity or Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with UNIX/Linux and scripting languages like Groovy or Bash.
• Knowledge of Exchange connectivity (FIX), OpenShift, Docker, or Python.
• Domain knowledge in derivatives, trading strategies, or equities risk.
