Description

You will design and develop microservices and enterprise-scale web applications using Java and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices using Spring Boot, Java, and RESTful architecture.
• Implement graphical user interfaces using AngularJS, ReactJS, Node JS, and modern JavaScript (ES13+).
• Build and maintain enterprise Java batch applications using JSR 352 and Control-M.
• Develop SOAP-based web services using JAX-WS, WS-Security, and Apache Axis.
• Create data access layers to interface with IBM DB2 databases using SQL, JNDI, JDBC, and Hibernate.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and React.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES13+ features like classes, arrow functions, and modules.
• Experience with OpenShift and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, and UCD.
• Experience with frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, and jQuery.
• Ability to design web components compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Must reside within two hours of Woodlawn, MD, and work on-site at least 2 days a week.
