Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for pricing, subscription, and billing workflows.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and FastAPI.
• Design and manage PostgreSQL databases, implementing schema design and query optimization.
• Implement caching strategies with Redis to enhance system performance.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Write clean, testable code with unit tests using Jest or Mocha, and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience in backend or full stack engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Experience building backend services using FastAPI or other Python frameworks.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and API security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/SQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Experience implementing caching mechanisms using Redis.
• Working knowledge of Docker and basic exposure to Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using Jest, Mocha, or similar frameworks.
