Description

Design and implement large-scale, self-contained systems within the team domain. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and document code, scripts, and processes according to organizational standards.
• Lead the implementation of significant capabilities in existing systems.
• Decompose intricate designs into implementations maintainable by less experienced engineers.
• Conduct root cause analysis for domain-level problems and prescribe mitigation actions.
• Coach team members on reliability, resiliency, security, performance, and instrumentation.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience designing and implementing large-scale solutions in production.
• 5+ years of experience with Angular, Node, and MongoDB.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven ability to lead technical implementations and mentor junior engineers.
• Experience decomposing complex architectures into maintainable code.
• Strong focus on system observability, supportability, and security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience with GraphQL, NestJS, or Prisma.
• Experience in the airline industry.
