Description

You will design and build backend microservices for complex insurance products using Java or Kotlin on AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend microservices deployed on AWS Lambda and serverless infrastructure.
• Implement business logic, quoting rules, and rating engines for various insurance products.
• Process data flow between backend systems and task engines like Salesforce.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Work within data-intensive environments to ensure system reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend programming skills in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Deep expertise with AWS cloud services, especially Lambda and serverless functions.
• Proven experience designing and building microservices handling complex business logic.
• Experience with C#.
• Ability to work within data-intensive environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Salesforce task engines.
