Description

Build and maintain scalable backend systems and frontend interfaces using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize microservices and REST APIs using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Implement AI-assisted development workflows using tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Windsurf.
• Design and manage batch processing jobs using Spring Batch, Airflow, Autosys, or Control-M.
• Tune SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance for Oracle, Sybase, or DB2 databases.
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage deployments via Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API design.
• Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf) and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in RDBMS (Oracle, Sybase, DB2), SQL, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline configuration.
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Airflow, Autosys, or Control-M.
• Basic familiarity with Angular for frontend integration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI Agents, Vector Search, and RAG architectures.
• Background in building code generation or AI assist tools.
