Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications and microservices. You will own the full lifecycle from technical design to deployment on AWS EKS, ensuring high availability and code quality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Drive technical decisions, system architecture, and design patterns for resilient systems.
• Develop, test, and deploy REST-based services on AWS EKS.
• Perform code reviews, system testing, and resolve technical risks and production issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts and users to identify enhancements and new features.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience as a Java developer.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Kafka.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and event-driven design using event queues.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing services on AWS EKS.
• Deep understanding of J2EE design patterns and high scalability/resiliency principles.
• Practical experience with complex SQL queries, database design, and Hibernate.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience working within Agile (SAFe) team environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
