Description

You will design, develop, and deliver Java-based APIs and microservices while building Angular frontends and owning the full release lifecycle.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive frontends with Angular and manage SQL databases including stored procedures.
• Write TDD/BDD unit tests, triage defects with QA, and maintain high code quality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Integrate streaming technologies like Kafka and ETL tools such as Mulesoft and StreamSets.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Java Developer in the US.
• Expertise in Java, Microservices, and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services.
• Experience integrating Kafka for streaming data.
• Frontend development experience with Angular.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing stored procedures and functions.
• Experience with Financial Services or Investment Banking domain.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau CRM, Cognos, or PowerBI.
