Description

You will develop and maintain complex web services and full-stack applications using Java and Azure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Own solution design by creating detailed documents, diagrams, spikes, and proof of concepts.
• Translate product requirements into technical designs following secure software development life cycle (SSDLC) practices.
• Collaborate with technical teams to finalize requirements, estimation, and project planning.
• Incorporate security considerations and technical debt estimation into all project plans.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience developing with Java, J2EE, and web services.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Experience with Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and XML/XSL.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, specifically Azure.
• Experience with Elastic Search, Lucene, Kafka, SNS, and SQS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on more than one large-scale project to understand architectural concepts and pitfalls.
