Description

You will design, develop, and implement scalable applications within a Java/J2EE environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design systems using established methodologies to ensure maintainable and easy-to-implement solutions.
• Analyze technical requirements and resource constraints to recommend optimum solutions.
• Identify and resolve performance issues in production and proactively fix quality defects.
• Mentor junior team members on technical implementation and problem-solving.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation and track complex problems to resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE environments.
• Strong experience with Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on development with Spring MVC, REST, and JMS.
• Experience using CSS libraries such as Bootstrap and PrimeNG.
• Working knowledge of JBOSS, ESB (Mule), and Maven.
• Competency with JSON, XML, XSLT, and SOAP.
• Experience with MyBatis and data interchange formats.
• Proficiency in SQL using DB2 and MS SQL Server.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• AWS experience including Lambda and S3.
• Background working within the insurance industry.
