Description

You will modernize legacy enterprise applications into cloud-native microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java Spring Boot microservices with scalable, secure RESTful APIs.
• Build and enhance Angular-based web applications (Angular 10+).
• Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
• Deploy and support containerized applications using Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design discussions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Angular (version 10+ preferred).
• Experience building microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong experience with Apache Kafka.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, and Linux.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or DB2 LUW.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Git/CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications or mainframe migration projects.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
