Description

Migrate legacy applications to a modern full stack ASP.NET Core architecture and extract business logic from legacy systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications using the ASP.NET Core stack.
• Extract business logic from legacy VB6, classic ASP, and T-SQL codebases.
• Migrate dynamic SQL from VB6 into stored procedures and upgrade T-SQL scripts.
• Build Web API REST services and web pages using Razor Pages or MVC.
• Troubleshoot application errors using Visual Studio and browser developer tools.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL and optimizing complex SQL scripts.
• Experience with ASP.NET and .NET Framework.
• Ability to work within legacy environments including classic ASP and VB6.
• Experience using GIT for source control in a team setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Ability to debug ELT jobs and complex data processes.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and APEX.
• Experience with Java.
