Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Full-Stack .NET Modernization Developer on behalf of our client in Atlanta, GA. We are looking for an experienced .NET professional to support a major modernization initiative involving the transformation of legacy ASP.NET applications into modern .NET platforms, modern APIs, Azure cloud services, and React-based user experiences.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with .NET development, legacy application modernization, cloud integration, SQL Server, and Agile software delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, modernize, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET and C#.

Lead hands-on migration of legacy ASP.NET applications to modern .NET platforms.

Develop and integrate modern Web APIs and application services.

Support application architecture and technical design decisions.

Build and maintain cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.

Work with Azure App Services, Function Apps, deployment pipelines, and configuration management.

Develop and optimize SQL Server solutions, including stored procedures and T-SQL.

Perform schema migrations, data cleanup, and database optimization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Participate in Agile development practices, including Scrum or Kanban.

Contribute to application delivery using Azure DevOps or GitHub.

Required Qualifications
8+ years of professional .NET development experience.

Strong hands-on experience with:

C#

ASP.NET MVC

Web API

Demonstrated experience migrating legacy ASP.NET applications to .NET 6, 7, 8, or later versions.

Strong production experience with SQL Server, including:

Stored procedures

T-SQL

Query/performance tuning

Schema migrations

Data cleanup

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including:

Azure App Services

Azure Function Apps

Deployment pipelines

Configuration management

5+ years of experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.

Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) or GitHub.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience modernizing large-scale enterprise applications.

Experience with React or modern front-end development.

Experience working with cloud-native application architectures and modern API-based solutions.

Experience supporting complex modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
