Description

You will design, build, and deploy scalable, secure software products on AWS, owning the full lifecycle from prototype to production.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and modernize cloud-native applications using microservices architecture and API-first design patterns.
• Develop solution prototypes to validate technical strategies and communicate design alternatives.
• Support cloud migrations, including rehosting and re-architecting on-premises systems into hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Implement frontend and backend services while collaborating with DevSecOps teams via CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with UX designers, platform engineers, and product owners within Agile and Scaled Agile frameworks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in full-stack application development.
• 3+ years building and modernizing applications on AWS.
• Proficiency in Python and Django.
• Experience with VueJS and JavaScript for frontend services.
• Hands-on experience with Flask and Docker.
• Knowledge of EKS/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipeline tooling.
• Ability to design software conforming to the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Bachelor's degree or 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certifications.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Event Bridge, and API Gateway.
• Familiarity with AWS SAM, Elasticsearch, Redis, or MongoDB.
