Description

You will architect, design, and implement web applications using modern engineering best practices. You own the full stack from UI components to database optimization.

Responsibilities

• Architect and code modular single-page application user interfaces and secure RESTful API microservices.
• Investigate and repair application defects across the front-end, business logic, middleware, and database layers.
• Optimize complex SQL queries and manage data modeling within PostgreSQL.
• Provide technical direction and hands-on development including design, development, and testing.
• Communicate technical concepts to management, customers, and vendors through written and oral reporting.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in modern software development, designing, building, and deploying applications.
• Extensive senior-level experience with Node.js and React.js.
• Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks including Redux, MobX, or Flux.
• Strong experience developing RESTful Web Services using Node.js and Express.
• Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, SonarQube, and UrbanCode.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, TDD, and BDD.
• Ability to meet Section 508/WCAG/USDs web accessibility standards.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
