Description

You will own end-to-end solution design and delivery for enterprise microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka, managing schema, replay, and idempotency.
• Develop and optimize microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Deploy and operate services on Kubernetes/OpenShift, ensuring multi-region HA and Active-Active setups.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, enforcing quality and security using SonarQube, Snyk, and Vault.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and production optimization efforts.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java-based backend or full-stack engineering.
• Deep expertise in microservices architecture and distributed systems patterns (HA, DR, circuit breaking).
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Redis Cluster, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and CI/CD automation.
• Proficiency in Java (8-21) and Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Experience designing data access layers across Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud-native deployment on GCP.
• Strong background in observability using tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, and Grafana.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems (e.g., COBOL to Java).
