Description

You will develop and maintain scalable microservices and web applications in a remote environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.
• Build microservices using modern Java frameworks.
• Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement secure authentication using OAuth2, JWT, and API Keys.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex distributed systems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with Java.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Micronaut, Quarkus, or Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure (compute, networking, and database services).
• Expert-level Git proficiency.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with messaging queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with testing frameworks including JUnit, Mockito, or Spock.
