Description

You will lead the design, development, and release of fullstack applications while mentoring the engineering team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural guidance and hands-on technical leadership for the development team.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality, performance, security, and adherence to coding standards.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers through technical coaching, knowledge sharing, and pair programming.
• Support strategic solution making, estimations, proof of concepts, and business proposal creation.
• Drive process optimizations and automation to improve system performance and reliability.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience with a tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with React JS (Hooks, Context API, Redux).
• Expertise in Node JS (Express/NestJS) and proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization using Docker.
• Database development experience, including relational database design, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with public clouds such as Azure and AWS.
• Proficient in version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub) and CI/CD environments (Azure DevOps) with branching strategies.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum).

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of security best practices including OAuth, JWT, XSS, and CSRF.
• Ability to speak and understand Malay language.
