Description

You will build and maintain integrations for a Smart Building IoT platform and existing building management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrations for IoT platforms including Fault Detection Diagnostics, Indoor Air Quality, People Counting, and Occupancy Analytics.
• Collaborate with Security Architecture and Design teams to apply appropriate controls for integrations and APIs.
• Analyze vendor APIs and integration interfaces to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Partner with Solution Architects, Systems Analysts, and Business Analysts to define integration requirements and contribute to overall solutions.
• Troubleshoot technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and fix bugs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in integration development.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Experience with SOAP/REST, XML Schemas, and SOAP WS specifications.
• Strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices patterns.
• Experience with API management, Gateways, and integration concepts.
• Solid grasp of object-oriented programming, OOAD, and design patterns.
• Knowledge of version control systems and DevOps processes and practices.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of application architecture and integration protocols.
