Deliver on-platform solutions that maintain a clean separation of concerns by decoupling business logic from presentation layers and GraphQL resolvers

Lead and execute long-term AI projects, incorporating AI-powered coding assistants and generative tools into core development workflows

Mitigate production risks through active monitoring, automated CI/CD pipeline validation, and endurance load testing that surfaces resource leaks prior to deployment

Foster engineering standards through technical mentorship of junior engineers and guidance of offshore development teams

Skills, Experience and Requirements

 

Core Skills and Competencies (What You'll Bring)

Extensive expertise in Object-Oriented Programming, Node.js, and event-driven architecture to modernize legacy codebases into modular, maintainable systems

Advanced proficiency in GraphQL and RESTful API optimization to ensure high-speed data retrieval and minimal client-side overhead

Strong command of cloud-based development environments, containerization using Docker, and Git branching strategies

AI application expertise, including the ability to integrate generative AI tools for long-term project initiatives, code refactoring, and test automation

Proven problem-solving and diagnostic skills required to resolve high-latency transaction issues, database lockups, and infrastructure exhaustion in production environments

Additional Qualifications

Experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch

Familiarity with Ping Identity, Recurly, and Vertex integrations

Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies and technical requirement elaboration

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a comparable field

Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in PHP and Node.js software application development

Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 5 years of experience with:

JavaScript & Node.js

PHP 8.x (specifically 8.2/8.3)

MySQL/SQL optimization and database schema management
