Description

You will design, develop, and deploy scalable data solutions using the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy cloud solutions using GCP services including DataFlow, DataFusion, Dataproc, Composer, GCS, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.
• Build and maintain scalable Python applications and scripts that integrate with GCP services.
• Implement security best practices across all cloud solutions to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Maintain CI/CD workflows and adhere to established coding standards and code review processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience focusing on ETL, Python, and cloud technologies.
• At least 2 years of experience in a senior or lead developer role.
• Extensive hands-on experience with GCP services: DataFlow, DataFusion, Dataproc, Composer, GCS, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.
• Advanced proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Strong understanding of both batch and streaming ETL pipelines.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, UCD, or Harness.
• Proficiency in Git and branching strategies.

Preferred Skills

• GCP certifications: Associate/Professional Cloud Architect or Associate/Professional Data Engineer.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Autosys, or SQL Agent.
