Description

You will build and maintain banking-grade microservices on Google Cloud Platform using Java, Kafka, and Spark.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy Java microservices on GCP.
• Implement Kafka topics and Pub/Sub integrations.
• Process data pipelines using Spark and Vert.x.
• Support banking domain systems with high availability.
• Collaborate on cloud infrastructure and deployment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Java Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Deep knowledge of Apache Kafka topics and message streaming.
• Experience with Apache Spark for data processing.
• Familiarity with Vert.x framework.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python.
• Exposure to AmEx LUMI systems.
