Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud and open-source systems for processing geospatial data via API-based platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and support scalable APIs and associative architectures handling thousands of requests per second.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from Proof of Concept and MVP through to production and deprecation.
• Identify performance bottlenecks in existing services and define scopes for system improvements.
• Maintain imagery-related user interface capabilities and collaborate on user-facing enhancements.
• Parse, manage, and analyze large datasets to transform information into actionable insights.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience writing modern JavaScript (ES2020).
• Experience with React or Vue.
• Proficiency with Node.js and NPM.
• Experience developing HTTP APIs using OpenAPI, REST, or GraphQL.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and PostGIS.
• Experience using cloud object storage such as AWS S3 or Google Cloud Storage.
• Familiarity with a statically typed language like TypeScript, Java, Scala, or C#.
• Experience with code versioning and dependency management using GitHub, SVN, or Maven.
• Experience using Docker or other container tools to build, test, and deploy within CI/CD environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD.
• Strong Git experience.
