Description

You will lead the migration of existing Jenkins pipelines and shared libraries to GitHub Workflows and Composite Actions. You will own the design and implementation of modular, reusable CI/CD components to ensure scalable and maintainable build processes.

Responsibilities

• Migrate Jenkins pipelines and shared libraries to GitHub Actions workflows and composite actions.
• Develop modular GitHub Composite Actions to enhance workflow reusability and reduce duplication.
• Configure and manage infrastructure setup using Terraform, including provisioning self-hosted runners in AKS or EKS.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and document CI/CD pipelines during migration.
• Implement reusable workflow patterns to streamline project management and deployment configurations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in CI/CD engineering, with proven experience migrating from Jenkins to GitHub Actions.
• Strong proficiency in designing GitHub Workflows, Composite Actions, and reusable workflow patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code, specifically for Kubernetes-based runners.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS, EKS) for provisioning and managing self-hosted runners.
• Proficiency in Docker and containerization tools to support runner setups and application deployments.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their managed services.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex pipeline issues and optimize build performance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Web Apps or similar PaaS services for deployment configuration.
• Knowledge of GCP managed services for cloud infrastructure.
