Description

Lead the migration of CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins to GitHub Actions, ensuring scalable and efficient build processes.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing Jenkins pipelines and shared libraries to GitHub Workflows and Composite Actions.
• Develop modular GitHub Composite Actions to enhance workflow reusability and maintainability.
• Build and utilize reusable workflow patterns to streamline project management and reduce duplication.
• Configure infrastructure setup using Terraform, including provisioning self-hosted runners in AKS or EKS.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and document CI/CD pipelines during migration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in CI/CD pipeline migration, specifically from Jenkins to GitHub Actions.
• Strong proficiency in designing and implementing GitHub Workflows and Composite Actions.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code, particularly for Kubernetes-based runners.
• Knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and managed services.
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure Web Apps or similar services for deployment configuration.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex CI/CD processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with self-hosted runner management in cloud environments.
• Background in shared library development and modular action design.
