Description

Administer and maintain GitLab Enterprise Edition across multiple environments, managing platform infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer GitLab EE, performing structured version upgrades and managing Omnibus installations.
• Manage and extend Ansible playbooks and Terraform configurations for infrastructure-as-code.
• Setup and manage AWS Geo DR sites, EKS runners, and Kubernetes-based deployments using Helm charts.
• Monitor platform health using Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus; respond to incidents and manage ServiceNow escalations.
• Remediate vulnerabilities, manage Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), and handle SSL/TLS certificate renewals.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Linux system administration and GitLab Enterprise Edition administration.
• Strong experience with Ansible (playbooks/roles) and Terraform (AWS provisioning/state management).
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL administration, including backups, replication, and tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, EKS, and Helm chart deployments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts, GitLab Runners, and pipeline architecture.
• Ability to write Bash scripts for automation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with HAProxy or F5 load balancer configuration and TLS/SSL management.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, firewalls, TCP/IP) and Git workflows.
• Experience monitoring logs with Splunk, Grafana, or similar tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience participating in SAFe Program Increments and sprint ceremonies.
• Knowledge of Kerberos Keytabs, service accounts, and M365 integration.
