Description

You will administer and maintain GitLab Enterprise Edition across multiple environments, including cloud-native Kubernetes deployments on AWS EKS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform structured version upgrades and manage platform infrastructure following change management procedures.
• Set up and manage AWS Geo DR sites, SSL/TLS certificates, and Kerberos Keytabs.
• Administer GitLab Runners (shared Linux and EKS) and CI/CD infrastructure, including Helm chart deployments.
• Monitor platform health using Splunk and Grafana, responding to incidents and managing vulnerabilities within CAP timelines.
• Maintain and extend Ansible playbooks and Terraform configurations for infrastructure-as-code.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Linux system administration experience.
• Expertise in GitLab EE administration, including Omnibus installs, upgrades, and configuration.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL database administration, covering backups, replication, and tuning.
• Strong Ansible skills for writing and maintaining playbooks and roles.
• Experience with Terraform for AWS infrastructure provisioning and state management.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (Helm charts) and EKS/ECS orchestration.
• Knowledge of HAProxy or F5 load balancer configuration for SSL termination and health checks.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus for monitoring and log analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience participating in SAFe Program Increments and sprint ceremonies.
• Ability to coordinate with Network, Security, and Database teams for cross-functional work.
