Description

You will design and maintain scalable backend applications using Go, focusing on microservices, database optimization, and API development.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate microservices using gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Design MySQL database schemas and write optimized SQL queries for performance.
• Implement robust REST and gRPC APIs with proper error handling, logging, and versioning.
• Troubleshoot production issues using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack metrics and logs.
• Maintain code quality through technical documentation and peer reviews.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience building applications with Go.
• Expertise in MySQL database design, indexing, transactions, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with gRPC and Protobuf for data serialization.
• Proficiency in Git version control.
• Experience implementing API security, including authentication and authorization.
• Ability to debug complex systems using monitoring and log analysis tools.
• Experience working within Scrum or Kanban agile frameworks.
• Strong background in SQL and database optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
