Description

You will design, develop, and test high-volume backend services using Go, owning the full lifecycle from API design to containerized deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop REST APIs for high-volume clients.
• Build and maintain microservices using synchronous and asynchronous messaging.
• Implement test-driven development practices, including unit, component, functional, and integration tests.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with small to medium-sized teams using Git and Agile methodologies.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in the GoLang development stack.
• Strong proficiency in GoLang, Docker, Kubernetes, and Python.
• Experience with back-end microservice architecture and REST API design.
• Hands-on experience with asynchronous messaging services like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Solid understanding of test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to GCP, NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Couchbase, or Cassandra), and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of the payments industry and distributed technologies.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects or using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
